Proudly made in the USA, our proprietary 996/997->GM E38 Plug N' Play Engine Harness allows you to run ANY 58x Chevrolet LS based engine installed in a Porsche 996/997. This harness will install onto the engine and plug into the factory Porsche chassis connectors located on the passenger side of the engine bay along w/ the GM E38 PCM. The included interface box and A/C or CAN module (dependent on application) will replace and accept the factory Porsche DME connection(s) to provide an 100% plug n' play application w/ FULL gauge functionality (i.e. - volt meter (on 996 cars), oil temp (on 997 cars), speedometer, tachometer, coolant temp, oil PSI, and CEL as well as chassis functionality including ABS, PSM, PASM (if equipped), and A/C.
This harness has been designed around a GM LS3 crate engine so dependent on which 58x engine you run LS3 sensors/accessories may be needed. With this product you'll recieve the following ...

NOTE:
For ‘99 MY vehicles, PLEASE verify your factory Porsche DME connector(s). ‘99 MY vehicles came with DBC or DBW! If your DME is populated w/ ONE large connector please select ‘996.1 (‘99 ONLY)’ for chassis. If your DME is populated w/ FIVE connectors please select ‘996.1 (‘00-‘01)’ for chassis. If you’re unsure, please send us an e-mail w/ a picture of your DME and its respective connector(s).
996.1 (‘99 ONLY)
DBW Pedal - Porsche 996.423.019.03 will need to be installed as our engine harness upgrades your DBC car to DBW.
996.1 (‘99-‘01):
Oil Pressure - Porsche 996.606.203.03 will need to be plumbed into your oiling system for oil pressure gauge functionality. For best results, please use such w/ our ‘Oil PSI Adapter Fitting’ and ‘CPE 996/997 Oiling Solution’.
Coolant Temp - Porsche 996.606.410.00/VW 1J0973702 will need to be plumbed into your cooling system for temperature gauge functionality. For best results, please use such w/ our ‘ECT Adapter Fitting’.
Your LOWER engine harness chassis connector will NEED to be retained from your factory engine harness and transferred over to ours, the flying leads on our harness terminate as stated below (you will need to add TWO wires for ‘ECT +/-‘) …

GM E38 PCM w/ OS 12633238 required for 100% compatibility. ‘Start Up’ tune is for idling purposes and light driving only, CPE is NOT responsible for engine damage due to misuse of such. Due to liability reasons cruise control (on equipped vehicles) is NOT supported.
