Oil is the lifeblood of all modern day engines and in turn is critical in keeping bearings happy and healthy. In our application, a front sump oil pan not only keeps the oil moving towards the pickup upon acceleration but equipped w/ trap doors and baffling within the sump mitigates such from sloshing around or moving away from the pickup during aggressive cornering, hard braking and/or complete deceleration whether on street or track! IF mounting your engine in the foremost (1” forward position), such is required for proper sway bar clearance. Designed by/proprietary to CPE and manufactured by Moroso the 'CPE 996/997 LSx Oiling Package' can be run as a simple oil pan setup or oil pan/oil cooler combo!
