The CPE 996/997 Lower Subframe Brace/Support, made from billet, allows you to successfully relocate your LS powertrain forward retaining the factory trunk latch assembly in ‘99-‘11 vehicles. This part was made out of necessity as the cast aluminum brace/support needs to be extensively modified to accommodate the additional clearance and in turn leaves room for fatigue in the form of stress cracks and more. This item uses OEM hardware and has two M6x1.0 threaded provisions for peripheral management.
