Oil is the lifeblood of all modern day engines and in turn is critical in keeping bearings happy and healthy. In 996/997 LSx applications, due to gearing, driving at sustained high RPMs for a prolonged period of time (i.e. - highway driving) causes/allows for the excess consumption of oil. With that said, it’s imperative to keep an eye on such and what better way than our ‘CPE 996/997 LSx Oil Pan ‘LowPro’ Dipstick feature a twist lock handle?
This dipstick has been designed specifically by CPE for 996/997 LSx applications utilizing CPE's front sump pan and cannot guarantee fitment or accurate readings w/ competitor pans (i.e. - Canton etc). This dipstick will read an 'OK' oil level when filled with/ 7qts.
NOTE: This dipstick has been designed specifically for CPE oil pans sold in 2026 onward. This dipstick will fit older CPE pans however will require dipstick bung relocation (further forward away from A/C compressor).
